Murrieta

Located in sunny Riverside County in South California, Murrieta is, as the city motto states, truly the “Gem of the Valley.” Murrieta is one of the fastest-growing cities in the state, having experienced a 133.7% population increase between the years 2000 and 2010. The City of Murrieta is located almost directly in the middle of the Los Angeles-San Diego area, which boasts a substantial population of roughly 24 million people. Murrieta is considered a commuter city, as most of the people who live here commute to jobs in nearby areas such as Camp Pendleton, Los Angeles, Temecula, Orange County, and San Diego.

Being a residential town, you might get the idea that there is not much to do in Murrieta, but you would be mistaken. You can get in touch with nature in Copper Cove Park, which covers nine acres. The park is filled with grassy areas perfect for sunbathing or relaxing with a book, and open spaces to throw a frisbee or a football and play a long-distance game of catch. There is ample shade, making this the perfect picnic location as well. As a bonus, if you have some little ones with you, there are playgrounds for the kids to tire themselves out on while you hunt for the perfect spot to relax. If this park isn’t enough to scratch your nature itch, you can easily get lost for hours on end at the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve. The reserve is quite a bit larger, sitting on 9,000 acres, and is one of the reasons many nature tourists venture into this part of the state. This reserve was created to protect 49 different species of plants and animals, which are now endangered in this area.

What this area might be best known for is its local wineries, which there are several. Three of the best-known are the Callaway Vineyard and Winery, the Miramonte Winery, and the Thornton Winery. These vineyards all sit on lush tracts of land and have gorgeous views with beautiful architectural structures on the properties. They are very popular destinations for corporate events, large family gatherings, weddings, and the like. There are no better places to visit if you want to give your refined palate a serious treat, paired with any one of their award-winning wines.

Do you have a need, for speed? Adrenaline junkies can get their fix at Pole Position Raceway, the local indoor Go-Kart track. The karts have multiple speed settings, so racers of all ages can put the pedal to the metal and try to end up ahead of the pack.

With the hot weather and abundant plant life in the area, it’s no wonder that many people have to deal with annoying pests which try to turn themselves into unwanted roommates. This can mean anything from gophers or voles in the foundation, to squirrels and mice in the attic, and bugs in the bed. If you’re looking for pest control services from the real experts at affordable prices, you will never go wrong by calling Gopher The Kill Pest Control.
